Giles Masters' career has spanned over thirty years in the film industry, working in Art Departments through the grades of Draughtsman, Assistant Art Director, Art Director, Supervising Art Director to Production Designer. His credits to date include thirty-six feature films, six television features and 2 television mini-series, as well as work on many commercials.
Giles’ successful career speaks for itself.  His most recent credits are:  As Production Designer on the Pilot and series; The Bastard Executioner and the series Shots Fired. As Production Designer on the feature films; Haunt,The Double and Leonie. As Production Designer on the TV movies/pilots; The Dovekeepers, Horizon and Beauty and the Beast, as Supervising Art Director or Art Director on - Fred Claus, Angels & Demons, The DaVinci Code, Van Helsing, Sahara, Shanghai Knights, The Mummy Returns, The MummyTomorrow Never Dies, Event Horizon, First Knight and Robin Hood - Prince of Thieves.
The DaVinci Code and Angels and Demons earned Giles nominations for the Art Directors Guild Award for Excellence in Design.
Giles is a member of IATSE and BAFTA. He has also been a member of the British Film Designers Guild for over twenty years, served on the Guild’s Committee for fifteen and been Secretary for eight.
As a European Passport and Green Card holder Giles has the flexibility to work in the United States, Europe and the Commonwealth.
In addition to being a designer, Giles also has garnered significant attention from notable Production companies with his screenwriting ability. His screenplay portfolio includes over 18 original projects: ranging from High Concept Action Adventure to Romantic Comedy to Drama to Historical Biopics and he has also written and illustrated a Graphic Novel.
